Rebecca Dolson is a freshwater fisheries specialist who has been working to support the science, conservation, and management of aquatic species and their habitats since the early 2000s. She holds a MSc in aquatic ecology and a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology, both from the University of Guelph. Dolson has worked in a wide range of fisheries and watershed management sectors including not-for-profit, consulting, and provincial government and leverages her diverse background to inform species protection and conservation. Dolson joined AFS in 2016 and is excited to be a part of a growing community of advocates for science communication and enjoys bringing field stories and scientific findings to life to broad audiences.
